Cap the well party

Let's keep our fingers crossed!! It's looking more and more that by the time we have this party on the 21st, the well will be permanently capped!!!!

If anyone has any ideas for the party, please post them here.

Parking will be a little tight so carpooling will be a good idea, if you can. You can also come by boat. My dock has lots of open slips and can handle boats up to about 26 feet.

I don't know how many kids we'll have, but a game for the kids would be great. Maybe a pinfishing contest?

I like the idea of a pin fish contest for the kids. I think I can get a friend of mine from a local bass club to 'officiate' and weigh in the fish. The contest can run from 4:30 to 5:30 and still have time to get all the kids cleaned up in time to eat.

We'll see about some gift cards from Bass Pro for the winners.

I can provide the bait, hooks, weights, etc but we'll need the kids to bring their own rods.

Yep, easy walking distance. I walk down 18th with my dog every day.
