Default National Geographic Story about lionfish

    Members,

click on the link below to read a story published by National Geographic. The disturbing news is that scientists are starting to find lionfish inside lionfish stomach contents. That is disturbing because they don't usually do that and it is a sign that they are running out of our native fish to eat. Our ecosystem is in danger and yet, our own FWC continues to wait to take action.

ECRA's lionfish population control plan could be implemented in the entire panhandle in less than a month. Why are they stuck in problem documentation mode? Traps are a FANTASTIC idea but, until they are developed and deployed, the lionfish population is destroying our future years' fish stocks!
