View Full Version : Fresh Bay Shrimp
As some of you know, I have a small shrimp boat and catch fresh bay shrimp about 3 days a week. This morning (Monday) I have about 100 lbs of 20-25 count, mixed but mostly large and extra large size with a few jumbos mixed in, that I sell for $4.00 per pound. They would cost $7 plus at a fish market. I will sell them at a 10 percent discount to ecreef members, that is $3.60 per pound and a great bargain for these very nice size shrimp. They can be picked up by boat in Joe's Bayou in Destin or at my home in Destin. These are great shrimp for filling the freezer and will not stay this size for too much longer. Call me if you want me to save you some. I normally sell them out pretty fast. Thanks.
Sold out 190 lbs. I will have more on 5/30 or 5/31 weather permitting. Thanks.
Wednesday Morning, 5/30.
I have 85 lbs of almost still kicking large and ex-large bay shrimp, with some jumbos mixed in caught at 1:00 am this morning. These are 20-25 count per pound and are great for filling the freezer, a great buy at this price.

Thanks for those of you who have called to buy shrimp!
Spear,
Those shrimp were great! It's hard to believe how great they taste when they're hours old compared to days old.....thanks.
Our guys on the team were fighting over em when they say the jumbos.
Look forward to the next batch!
Huggs
Thanks Huggs!
I have more this morning ( Friday 6/1), just caught if anybody is interested.

Looking to do a big shrimp boil this weekend and would like to purchase 10 to 15 pound give john a call @ 978-1328 if you will have some available

mk82snake, Thanks for asking, but we don't get any shrimp in the bay when the water gets this hot. When it starts to cool down we will get some shrimp later in September and October. Our best time however is April through June. The shrimp sold it the markets now including "heads on" was either frozen during the earlier season or is pre-frozen, imported, farm raised shrimp.
I will post here when we start catching local shrimp again. Thanks again and I sure wish I had some to sell you.
