I was talking with Carla at ScubaTech recently about diving The Liberty Ship and she said they don't dive it very often because the "resident" Bull Sharks have become very agressive, especially with anyone spearfishing.
Just a heads up for anyone planning to dive it.

On 6/6/07 I dove Whitehill reef, about 200 yards N of the Liberty Ship, the only shark we saw was a sleeping nurse shark.

No Bullsharks seen but then when your not dragging bloody fish around I won't wouldn't expect to see any either.

We fished the Liberty Ship on January 15, 2008. There was a steady bite of Red Snapper (some small, a few legal sizes) and Red Mouths. Once in a while we'd get a small Gag.
