Please read the following instructions prior to posting!
This project is to report on Public Artificial Reefs.
A separate thread will be started for each Public Artificial Reef. Multiple reports can be posted by different divers but Please post your reports on each Reef only on the thread about that Specific Reef.
Please look to see if a thread has already been started about the Public Artificial Reef for which you would like to post a report. (Please do not start multiple threads on the same reef.)
If a thread has already been started for a reef and you have a report to contribute, click on "reply to thread". We encourage multiple reports from multiple divers on all reefs!
If no thread exists for the reef, click on the "Start new thread" Please title the thread with the name of the reef.
The following is a list of information that we would like to gather about our Public Artificial Reefs.
Name of Public Artificial Reef
1) Date the Artificial Reef was visited
2) Please give a written report on your visual inspection. Note any thing you can pertaining to the condition of the Artificial Reef.
3) If possible, include photos of the Artificial Reef conditions you are reporting. If you have video, please contact the forum administrator to submit it to the report. admin@ecreef.org
4) Please note the direction the reef is sitting. Example: Tug is oriented in a North / South position
5) Report on fish populations and sea life
6) Report any damage or debris
7) Report if the Reef is sitting in sand or silt
8) Report dangers Example: covered in monofilament or walls collapsing...
9) Report anything that you find interesting about the reef.
