I am interested in talking with someone about putting vinyl lettering on the side of our boat. For starters we don't have the boats name on her yet, I mean its only been 3 years, no rush right. I have also talked to a couple of businesses about their sponsorship and in return my putting their name and or logo on that lovely white hull.

Do any of you have any recommendations, any experience with this good or bad. I know that there are different grades of vinyl, some of which doesn't do well with prolonged exposure to the sun and salt water, what ever I get will (hopefully) be exposed to large doses of both and often.

We used Awesome Signs in Niceville when we re-named our boat. That was several years ago and the name still looks good.

BTW, our boat lives in the water so it gets sun & glare off the water every day.

They gave us a fair price and did the job the day they said they would.

Candy did they go to the boat. This is my next problem, no will want to come to Freeport and I will have a difficult time getting the boat to them, depending on where they are located.

Frankie,

"Awesome Signs" went to the boat, but it was only a few blocks away at the Lighthouse Key Marina. You might want to find someone closer to freeport. (Or "Awsome" might need the work.)

Stone, thats is the problem. There isn't anyone that I am aware of near Freeport. I can trailer the boat, well I trailer it all the time, I just like to pick where I am trailering to. Or at least get to look it over real well before trailering into a location so I have some idea of what to expect.
